The Roland TD-1DMK is Roland's most affordable drum-kit featuring all mesh heads for incredible responsiveness, on a full-size drum rack which can be customised for players of any level.
The TD-1 module is easy to use and packed with great quality drum sounds. The on board coaching features will help you improve your drumming whether you're a beginner or a gigging player.

Get the Best Start
An electronic drum kit is the easiest and least anti-social way to get into drumming, but typically entry level electronic kits are fitted with rubber drum pads which feel nothing like a ‘real’ drum kit.
Roland have set out to change this by equipping the TD-1DMK with the same twin-ply mesh drum heads as their flagship professional quality drum kits. Mesh drum heads offer a playing feel and response which is as close to an acoustic drum as possible. Whether you’re a seasoned player looking for a kit to use at home, or a beginner looking to get the best start to your playing, the Roland TD-1DMK won’t hold you back from developing your drumming.
Roland Quality Sounds
The TD-1 Module is easy to use whilst still being fully featured. There are 15 onboard drum kits which allow you to choose a great sounding kit for any style of music at the push of a button without scrolling through endless menus and options.
The sounds onboard won’t hold you back either, with dual-zone triggering for the snare pad, and closed, half open and fully open sounds available from the hi-hit there is no compromise in playability.
Play Along to Your Tracks
Drums are seriously fun, but played on their own it’s easy to run out of inspiration. Adding backing tracks or playing along to songs is a great way to improve your feel and playing discipline. With the TD-1DMK you can play along to the tracks built into the module or connect your own device via mini-jack and play along to your favorite songs, lessons or backing tracks.
Keep Getting Better – Whatever Your Level
Not just a great sounding kit, the TD-1DMK is also a useful practice tool. The module has 10 different customisable coaching functions which test your abilities and give you a clear indication of your progress. These aren’t just for beginners; pro players can up the difficulty levels and use the TD-1DMK to sharpen up their skills to keep getting better.
A Kit You Can Stick With
While most entry level kits are quickly outgrown, the TD-1DMK is designed to grow with you. The full size MDS-Compact frame is fully adjustable for players of any height and style, and the pads can easily be upgraded with Roland’s other V-Drum pads, or control pedals.
You can even develop double-pedal kick techniques with the TD-1DMK thanks to the built in double bass drum pad. The TD-1DMK can act as an ideal studio kit for home recording or VST triggering, thanks to it’s easy USB MIDI connectivity.

Most items except consumables (i.e. Sticks and Drum Skins) are guaranteed for 12-24 months and we will act on your behalf with the manufacturer and whenever possible provide you with a loan item free of charge.

At Drumshack, we offer our customers the option of selling their used musical instruments and part exchanging goods against any of our products, including 2nd Hand.
Simply fill out our form here to submit your product for consideration. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse items if they are in bad condition, not relevant to the shop...etc.
To sell us equipment you must be able to transport the goods to our shop in South London (full details on our contact page). We also require 2 forms of ID - one with a photo (eg drivers licence / passport) and another being a recently dated letter to your address.
At Drumshack, we check our online prices regularly to offer our customers competitive pricing on our products. However, if you do find something cheaper, it never hurts to ask!
We will price match UK online or in store quotes only and the product itself needs to be "like for like". Please make sure that the offer has exactly the same product as the one you wish to purchase including the colour, the version...etc.
Though we will not usually price match Ebay or Amazon, if it is a product advertised on those platforms, we are happy to look at it.
Please note that any price match requests will be at Drumshack's discretion whether we choose to honour that pricing. We will always try to do our best to make our products are affordable for everyone.
