Mapex Armory "Fusion" 5 Piece Shell Pack
The Armory Series is an exciting realization of the Mapex hybrid shell concept. A fusion of birch and maple delivers the ultimate tonal expression, and the SONIClear™ bearing edge allows the drumhead to sit flat, bringing out the best response by optimizing the relationship between head and shell.
The Armory Series “Fusion” Shell Pack is a mix of smaller sizes and are equally suited for the performing drummer needing a highly portable, great sounding kit, or the Jazz drummer needing some versatility.
Shell pack consists of:
- 20"x16"bass drum
- 10"x8", 12"x9" tom toms
- 14"x14" floor toms
- 14"x 5.5" Tomahawk 1.0mm Steel Snare

The SONIClear™ Bearing Edge is standard on all Armory shells and allows the drumhead to sit flatter and make better contact with the shell. The result is a stronger and deeper fundamental pitch, effortless and consistent tuning, and a significantly expanded tuning range. For the serious player, the increased head to edge contact increases shell vibration, allowing the sonic nuances of the Hybrid shell to stand out.
- "TOMAHAWK" Snare
The TOMAHAWK comes standard with all Armory kits. Made with a 1mm steel shell, the TOMAHAWK has penetrating accuracy and long-range projection. The focused power of its rim shot is devastating.
- SONIClear™ Suspension System
Straight from the Saturn V Series, the SONIClear™ Suspension System on the rack toms increases overall resonance by preserving vibration in the drumheads and shell and preventing energy transfer to the hardware.
- Insulated Bass Drum Claws
The Insulated Bass Drum Claws include rubber gaskets that protect the hoop from damage and prevent rattling or buzzing during periods of extended play.
- 8-ply, 7.55mm Birch/Maple/Birch Hybrid Shells
The 8ply 7.55mm Birch/Maple/Birch Hybrid Shells deliver the ultimate in tone, resonance, and punch. They allow the drums to speak quickly and project clearly in the manner of old-world drum craftsmanship.
- Sonic Pedestal Foot
The Sonic Pedestal Foot provide stable support while increasing overall punch and body, preserving vibration in the drumheads and shell and preventing energy transfer to the floor.
- Olive Wood Veneers
The beautiful Olive Wood Veneers with sophisticated lacquered finishes makes the kits stand out on every stage.
- TH676 Double Tom Holder
The TH676 double tom holder featured in the 2025 Armory Series, allows easy adjustment of rack tom angles, offering improved stability and a more consistent setup for drummers.
- New Memory Lock
The new memory lock improves the consistency of the setup, offering greater stability and enabling drummers to easily maintain their preferred tom positions.

Damaged or Defective goods
We are prepared to replace free of charge or offer a full refund for any Goods which are proved to be of defective manufacture or materials at the time of their purchase. Most items except consumables (i.e. Sticks and Drum Skins) are guaranteed for 12-24 months and we will act on your behalf with the manufacturer and whenever possible provide you with a loan item free of charge.
Please ensure you thoroughly check your Goods before signing for them. If your Goods have been damaged in transit please sign for them as 'damaged' and contact us immediately on 020 7228 1000 or email sales@drumshack.co.uk.

International Orders and Delivery
Orders placed for dispatch internationally will have the VAT amount removed before processing. Please be aware that VAT is Now Paid at Point of Arrival. As well as local VAT, you may also have to pay any duty that is due if the goods were not made in the EU or UK.
Large Parcels which exceed 30kg (volume metric weight may be applicable on the box size) or 175cm in length will be subject to a postage surcharge. We will notify you of the charge on receipt of your order.
EU and International Deliveries are sent via our Courier Company DPD.

At Drumshack, we offer our customers the option of selling their used musical instruments and part exchanging goods against any of our products, including 2nd Hand.
Simply fill out our form here to submit your product for consideration. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse items if they are in bad condition, not relevant to the shop...etc.
To sell us equipment you must be able to transport the goods to our shop in South London (full details on our contact page). We also require 2 forms of ID - one with a photo (eg drivers licence / passport) and another being a recently dated letter to your address.
At Drumshack, we check our online prices regularly to offer our customers competitive pricing on our products. However, if you do find something cheaper, it never hurts to ask!
We will price match UK online or in store quotes only and the product itself needs to be "like for like". Please make sure that the offer has exactly the same product as the one you wish to purchase including the colour, the version...etc.
Though we will not usually price match Ebay or Amazon, if it is a product advertised on those platforms, we are happy to look at it.
Please note that any price match requests will be at Drumshack's discretion whether we choose to honour that pricing. We will always try to do our best to make our products are affordable for everyone.
